According to his allegations, a Texas A&M alum joined the marching band by accident and spent four years pretending to play an instrument.
Gerardo Juarez shared his story in a TikTok video earlier this week, explaining how he was able to pull it off.
Before starting studies at Texas A&M in the fall of 2015, Juarez looked for economical on-campus housing. His quest led him to a hall on campus reserved solely for band members and the university’s Corps of Cadets. Juarez received an email concerning the university’s marching band orie
Juarez admitted in the TikTok video that he only played in the band in sixth grade, but it was too late to locate new home, so he pretended to play in the band. After the band directors overlooked Juarez during orientation, he was accepted into the band and spent the following four years playing with the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band.
For those inquiring about a tryout? So, there was supposed to be one. However, the directors did not contact him about the audition, so he was able to slip in. His pals eventually learned he wasn’t playing an instrument, but not before he went unnoticed for four years at Aggieland.
