The Milwaukee Bucks continued their winning ways, defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 123-109 at home on Sunday night. The Bucks won their fourth game in a row.
Even more noteworthy is that during the Sixers game, Bucks player Damian Lillard became the newest member of the NBA’s 22,000-point club.
Lillard began the game against Philadelphia with 21,976 career points and finished the day as the 38th player in league history to achieve at least 22,000 regular-season points, scoring 25 points on 7-for-17 shooting from the field while adding five rebounds and four assists in 40 minutes.
The Bucks made sure to inform everyone about Lillard’s achievement via a post on X (previously Twitter).

Milwaukee’s victory over the Sixers on Sunday was their second versus Philadelphia this season. On October 23, the Bucks defeated Philadelphia 124-109 on the road. Lillard led the Bucks with 30 points on 9-of-19 shooting from the field.
The Bucks are now fourth in the Eastern Conference standings, with a 24-17 record, 11 games behind the Cleveland Cavs.
Milwaukee’s next game will be on the road against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday.
