David Prutton, speaking to Sky Sports, has shared that Daniel Farke is highly pleased with Georginio Rutter, the Leeds United forward, because of his exceptional “work ethic.” Consequently, Rutter has earned a spot on Prutton’s Championship Team of the Season, despite a challenging start to his career at Elland Road. Rutter, aged 21, opted to stay with the club despite interest from Borussia Dortmund and Lyon, and he has truly transformed his fortunes.
While his statistics may only show five goals and assists in 10 Championship matches, Rutter is impressively leading the line for Leeds. He has formed a strong partnership with Joel Piroe in the final third, and some of his performances have demonstrated that he is a cut above the competition in the second-tier English football.
