The engagement of former All Black Ali Williams and Zuru co-founder Anna Mowbray was made public.

Anna Mowbray, co-founder of Zuru, and former All Black player Ali Williams have officially confirmed their engagement in London. Despite the recent announcement, they had been engaged for over a year and a half, as revealed by Mowbray. They shared a charming photo of themselves celebrating their engagement with champagne on a picnic blanket in front of their Westmere home.

Mowbray, 41, was spotted wearing an impressive engagement ring in various social media photos, and Williams, 42, presented her with a stunning diamond solitaire ring estimated to be around 10 carats.

Recently, Mowbray’s three children and Williams’ two children enjoyed a family trip to Kokomo Private Island in Fiji. The couple also embarked on a romantic European trip to attend the Rugby World Cup.

During their visit to Paris for the Rugby World Cup semifinal, they were seen wearing matching black puffer coats with white Eiffel Towers on the back. They also watched a football match in an executive suite at Parc des Princes Stadium, where Mowbray described the experience as “next-level.”

Before the RWC final, they joined former All Black teammate Doug Howlett and his wife Monique for a special tour of Moët & Chandon in Epernay, where they explored the vast underground tunnels housing more than 100 million bottles of champagne.

Following the RWC final, they headed to London and enjoyed dinner at the Chiltern Firehouse restaurant and hotel in Marylebone, a celebrity hotspot. They were treated to a private dessert experience in the watchtower of the restored firehouse.

In addition to their personal life, both Williams and Mowbray have been busy with their respective ventures. Williams has ventured into property, joining the Ardmore Group in Central Auckland. Mowbray, on the other hand, stepped back from her role as director at Zuru, which she helped build over 17 years, to focus on her new recruitment app, Zeil. The app has gained significant traction, with nearly 25,000 users and over 900 brands and thousands of job postings.

Their home renovation project, involving the demolition of their $24 million waterfront Westmere home to make way for a new mega-mansion, is expected to be completed by the summer.
