Bradford City AFC is delight to announce the return of their potential star from…….

Ryan East may potentially make a return to Bradford City this winter after spending time on loan at Rochdale, according to a report from the Telegraph & Argus. The midfielder was loaned to Rochdale for the entire season by Bradford City during the summer transfer window. During his time at Rochdale, the 21-year-old has made 21 appearances across various competitions and contributed four goals to the team.

The Telegraph & Argus has indicated that East’s future at Rochdale is uncertain, raising the possibility of his return to Valley Parade next month, along with Jake Young from Swindon Town. Despite initially falling out of favor at Bradford, East has been performing well at Rochdale and enjoying regular playing time with the North West club. Rochdale, relegated from League Two last season, currently occupies the 8th position in the National League as they aim for a swift promotion back to the Football League.

While it would be unexpected for East’s loan to be cut short, the recent change in management from Mark Hughes to Graham Alexander has introduced an element of uncertainty, especially with the upcoming transfer window. East was signed by the Bantams in May of the previous year and played 26 times for the Yorkshire team under Hughes in the last season. His contract is set to expire at the end of this campaign, making him a free agent in June 2024.

East began his career at Reading and progressed through the Royals’ academy ranks before making a single appearance for their first team as a young player. Following a year at Swindon, he moved to Bradford when the club expressed interest.

This weekend, Bradford City is scheduled to face Salford City in their upcoming fixture.
