Huddersfield Town manager Darren Moore expressed that his team received the outcome they deserved following a 3-1 home loss to Preston. The Terriers conceded an early goal and trailed 2-0 at halftime, currently sitting just two points above the relegation zone with a game more played than 22nd-placed QPR.
Moore criticized his team’s overall performance, stating that they lacked the necessary determination for the game. He acknowledged the result as a fair reflection of their subpar display, emphasizing the difficulty of recovering when starting and performing poorly.
Despite making a triple substitution at halftime and winning only two of his 14 matches since taking charge in September, Moore remains confident in his ability to reverse their fortunes. Owner Kevin Nagle ruled out sacking Moore earlier in the month, and the team is set to face Millwall next. Moore asserted his belief in the team’s capability to overcome their current challenges, acknowledging their dissatisfaction with the recent result but emphasizing the ample opportunities for improvement in the remaining fixtures.
