The 35-year-old captain of Huddersfield Town, Jonathan Hogg, asserts that he has no plans to retire soon and remains a crucial part of the team. Currently in his 11th season with the club, Hogg, who joined from Watford in 2013, has accumulated over 300 league appearances. Despite reaching this milestone, Hogg continues to be a regular presence in the team, making his 19th appearance of the season against Preston North End. At a recent press conference, he expressed his intention to keep playing as long as he enjoys the game.
When questioned about his future after retirement, Hogg mentioned that he hasn’t given it much thought, emphasizing his focus on enjoying the game and continuing to play. He acknowledged that his playing style has evolved over the years, shifting from a more attacking role to a deeper position as a midfielder.
