Fulham potential target has finally agree fulham deal, after rejecting Serie A top clubs

Fulham receive ‘green light’ from player and agent for signing – Claim club handling offer from Silva’s side

Two months ago, Fanaticos reported that Fulham was among the clubs showing interest in securing the signing of Sebastián Cáceres from Club América during the upcoming winter transfer window. The centre-back’s contract is set to expire in December 2024, indicating a potential departure from the Mexican club.

Mexican journalist Fernando Esquivel provided a recent update on the situation, suggesting that Fulham, managed by Marco Silva, and Napoli are the primary contenders vying for the 24-year-old’s signature, with the anticipated transfer window in January. Esquivel mentioned that Club América has received two offers from Europe, speculating that these might be from Fulham and the Serie A champions, Napoli. However, he did not provide details about the terms of these proposals.

According to Esquivel, there have been “advances” in the negotiations following “planned contacts,” but it remains unclear whether Fulham and Napoli initiated discussions with Club América, the player’s representatives, or both parties. The journalist noted that both Cáceres and his agent have given their approval for a move to Europe, and the response from Club América is now awaited.

Sebastián Cáceres has been active on the field, making 18 appearances for Club América in the current season.
