Ipswich Town is reportedly close to completing the signing of winger Jeremy Sarmiento on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion. The 21-year-old had spent the first half of the season on loan at West Brom, making 20 appearances and scoring two goals in the Championship. However, he was recalled by Brighton, and Ipswich Town now appears to be his next destination. If Ipswich achieves promotion to the Premier League, there is a possibility of extending Sarmiento’s loan for another year. The move aligns with Ipswich Town’s intention to strengthen the squad, particularly in the forward areas, as mentioned by manager Kieran McKenna.
