Huddersfield Town has signed Groningen defender Radinio Balker for an unknown sum on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
The 25-year-old competed in the Dutch top tier last season.
Town are 21st in the Championship, four points ahead of the relegation zone.
“He’s very quick and athletic, he can carry and advance the ball up the pitch, and, more importantly, he appears to enjoy the defensive side of the game,” manager Darren Moore told the club website.
