Thierry Nevers has officially left West Ham United to join Moldovan Super League club FC Sheriff Tiraspol.
West Ham recruited Thierry Nevers from Reading in the summer of 2021, but he struggled to impress during his stay in East London.
Hammers manager David Moyes did not give the 21-year-old a single minute of senior squad action (Transfermarkt), and he was loaned out to Newport County and Bradford during the last two seasons.
Nevers scored eight goals and assisted three times in 18 games for the West Ham under-21s, which is a rather impressive record.
However, he was not talented enough to play at the senior level and is now poised to try his luck in Moldova.

West Ham have stated on their official website that the young forward has left the London Stadium to join Sheriff Tiraspol.
Archie Woods has left the Hammers as well.
Nevers arrived at the London Stadium with a strong reputation as a gifted young attacker.
However, he has not progressed or developed throughout his time at West Ham. Now we’ll see if the Moldovan Super League is on his level.
Sheriff Tiraspol has dominated the league over the past couple of decades, winning it a record 21 times.
Listen, Thierry Nevers was obviously not good enough to play at the highest level for West Ham. It will be interesting to see how he develops over the next few years and what he does with his career.
