Josh Allen Shoulder Surgery? Bills Injury Decision
Hours after the Buffalo Bills suffered another agonizing playoff loss, there is encouraging news for the franchise quarterback. Allen told reporters Monday, following the 27-24 Divisional loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, that he does not expect surgery for a shoulder problem that kept him on the injury report for much of the season. Allen originally listed on the Bills’ injury report in Week 7 due to a shoulder ailment and remained there until Week 17.
Despite being on the injury list for nine weeks in a row, Allen believed his shoulder improved as the season continued. “It felt like it kept getting better as the season went on, especially these last four weeks,” said Allen. “Felt like it didn’t bother me at all, so I don’t think there’s anything going on.”

Despite the setback, Allen was at his best in postseason; yet, Buffalo fell short again to Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. Sunday at Highmark Stadium. Playoff Loss Allen accounted for 258 of the Bills’ 368 offensive yards and all three touchdowns against a Chiefs defense that allowed the second-lowest points per game during the regular season. In the postseason, Allen completed 47 of 69 throws for 389 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns.
