Burnley and Dundee have announced a collaboration deal, which has already resulted in two loan moves.
The clubs, both owned by Americans, say the collaboration will “foster a platform to engage and enhance emerging and developing talent” while also generating possibilities to pursue common goals.
Dundee signed forward Dara Costelloe and left-back Owen Dodgson on loan from Burnley earlier this month.
Burnley chairman Alan Pace stated, “We are excited to embark on this new journey with Dundee FC, who, like Burnley, have a rich history and a passionate following.
“This collaboration strengthens our collective strength and will result in some amazing prospects for mutual growth and success.
“The Scottish Premiership offers a wonderful development ground for young and emerging talent, as well as a potential pathway to European competition.
“We’re looking forward to working closely with Dundee FC and creating meaningful mutual and lasting impacts both on and off the pitch.”
Tim Keyes, the chairman of Dundee United, said: “Joining forces with a club of this stature is a real statement of intent and one which we hope will support our journey towards greater heights in the future.”
