He belongs to the Louis-Dreyfus clan. That is his father’s family; they established the Louis-Dreyfus company in 1851. The company works in a variety of sectors. It is a business that engages in international shipping, agribusiness, food processing, and financing.

According to Fortune, the business produced over $1 billion in profit during the previous fiscal year.

During his lifetime, his father also served as the CEO of Adidas and Saatchi & Saatchi. In 2009, he passed away. According to Forbes, Margarita, his mother, currently has a net worth of £2.7 billion.

Various business ventures

Prior to selling it in 2016, Kyril’s family was the owners of French football club Marseille. From 1996 until his death in 2009, his late father held the majority of the club’s shares. He and his family have been involved in football activities all of his childhood.

According to The Sun, the chairman of the Black Cats used to frequently take his father to games at the Stade Velodrome.

This, together with the fact that he came to this nation to attend Leeds Beckett University to study sports and business management, demonstrate that he is not an outsider wanting to gain financially from the team.

What is the future of Sunderland under Kyril Louis-Dreyfus? When posting statements on the club’s website, he has consistently brought up long-term success and sustainability.

Every football fan wants this for their team. However, it has a little more significance when the person saying it just assisted in your promotion to the Championship. Last season, in his first full campaign as the club’s majority owner, he led them to the Championship playoffs, an incredible achievement for a team that had just been promoted.

Staying in the second tier won’t be in his plans for very long given the budget they can work with. But it is evident from his words and actions that he is not a wild football operator. He has capable people supporting him, and he seems to know what he’s doing.
