‘Unbelievable’ 24-year-old who rejected Nottingham Forest now set for PL club exile

On transfer deadline, Nottingham Forest attempted to acquire Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah. The athlete is currently in limbo as the Blues plan to permanently remove him from the senior ranks.

Football London reports that Mauricio Pochettino has no intention of giving the 24-year-old a reprieve. Tottenham was also mentioned during the summer, and it has been suggested that they may make another attempt to sign him in January.

When the transfer window reopens, Forest might also make an effort to sign Chalobah. The talented entertainer has a lot of fans, including Steve Cooper, who may already be considering signing him when the window reopens.

Previously, Rio Ferdinand complimented Chalobah, a target for the Forest, for his performance for the Chelsea squad. Cooper has previously collaborated with him while working with the England youth teams, and he described him as “unbelievable.”

On the day of the transfer deadline, Chalobah was all set to join Bayern Munich. However, when everything went wrong, Forest decided to make a last-ditch effort to bring him to the City Ground.

However, the player decided to remain put this close to the transfer deadline. Chalobah didn’t want to switch to Forest at this point in the day, and he might now come to regret that choice.

After turning down Forest, Chalobah is headed for Chelsea.
It appears that Pochettino does not like having the defender around. He now faces being completely dropped from the Chelsea team as a result of the Blues’ summer transfer frenzy.

Chalobah will probably still be on Forest’s mind. However, the club might believe they now have a few reliable investments for the future after signing Murillo and Andrew Omobamidele.

Chalobah might come to regret his choice in regards to Forest. He may have wanted to bide his time, but he won’t be playing football for at least the next four months as a result.
