Reuters, September 13 – Harry Toffolo of Nottingham Forest received a suspended five-month suspension and a fine of nearly 21,000 pounds ($26,000) after confessing to 375 betting rule violations, the Football Association (FA) announced on Wednesday.
When the full back was playing for Norwich City and on loan to teams like Swindon Town, Rotherham United, Peterborough United, and Scunthorpe United between 2014 and 2017, there were violations.
The FA announced that Harry Toffolo of Nottingham Forest had received a 20.956.22 pound fine and a five-month suspension that was postponed until the end of the 2024–25 season for violating their betting policies.
“The defender confirmed that he violated FA Rule E1(b) 375 times between January 22, 2014, and March 18, 2017. After a hearing, an independent regulatory commission decided on his punishment.

Toffolo participated in 19 games for Forest in the 2022–23 season as they battled against relegation to remain in the top division. Between 2015 and 2016, the 28-year-old also made six appearances for England’s under-20 team.
Ivan Toney, a striker for Brentford and England, was fined 50,000 pounds and given an eight-month suspension from football in May after confessing to 232 betting rule violations.
