Police explain why Huddersfield town centre was taped off this morning

A man in his 30s was subjected to two separate assaults in Huddersfield town center during the early hours of the morning. He was subsequently rushed to the hospital for treatment. West Yorkshire Police detectives have initiated an investigation into the incidents, which occurred on Tuesday morning. The ambulance service alerted officers at 2.28am after discovering the injured man on John William Street.

The victim, described as a man in his 30s, was reportedly assaulted not only on John William Street but also in the nearby St Peters Gardens. Although he sustained injuries, they are fortunately non-life-threatening. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service alerted the police at 2.28am regarding an assault on John William Street involving a man. Furthermore, it was reported that the same individual, a man in his 30s, was assaulted in St Peters Gardens nearby. The man was transported to the hospital, and his injuries are described as not life-threatening.”
