Charlton Athletic has confirm key player departure on long-term loan

Deji Elerewe, a defender for Charlton Athletic, has joined Bromley on loan.

The 20-year-old centre-back spent last season with the National League club, joining in March and helping them reach the play-offs.

Elerewe will be with Andy Woodman until the beginning of January.

“It feels great to be back,” he said, according to Bromley’s official website. “I’ve been talking to Andy for three or four months. I told him I wanted to come back to Bromley because I enjoy being here and would return if I wasn’t going to play at Charlton.

“The last time I was here, Bromley felt like a family to me.”

“Bromley have done really well this season, with a really good squad, and it puts us in a good position to get out of the division.”

“My goal is to play as many games as possible and do as much as I can for the team.”
