AC Milan is making efforts to secure the signing of Juan Miranda, a defender from Real Betis, as a free transfer at the end of the season, according to a report. The Rossoneri are eager to find a backup for Theo Hernandez in the left-back position, and Miranda appears to be a preferred choice for them.
Miranda, a Spaniard, will see his contract with Real Betis expire at the end of this season, but his former club, Barcelona, is also expressing strong interest in his signing. In Barcelona, he would serve as a backup to Alejandro Balde, so the potential playing time in both clubs seems similar.
There’s a possibility that Milan might make an offer of €3-4 million to sign him in January, which could lead to the loan of Davide Bartesaghi, who wouldn’t be required in that case.
