According to Dr. Rajpal Brar, Leeds United midfielder Jamie Shackleton might be facing the possibility of shoulder surgery following his recent injury. Prior to the Bristol City match just before the international break, manager Daniel Farke expressed his hope of Shackleton’s return in a few weeks, but the club has not officially confirmed this. Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Dr. Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Science, commented on Shackleton’s situation:

Shackleton has appeared in seven league matches for Leeds United this season and has proven to be a valuable utility player for Farke. Despite his primary role as a central midfielder, he has been deployed as a right-back due to Djed Spence’s injury and Luke Ayling’s form.
