What Dr. Rajpal Brar said about leeds united potential midfielder Jamie Shackleton injury

We are thrilled to introduce Dr. Rajpal Brar, an expert in the field of injuries, as our exclusive columnist. He will regularly share his insights on the injury situation at Leeds United.

According to Dr. Rajpal Brar, Leeds United midfielder Jamie Shackleton might be facing the possibility of shoulder surgery following his recent injury. Brar suggests that if conventional rehabilitation methods prove ineffective, undergoing a surgical procedure may be the sole viable solution for the 24-year-old player.

Prior to the Bristol City match just before the international break, manager Daniel Farke expressed his hope of Shackleton’s return in a few weeks, but the club has not officially confirmed this. Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Dr. Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Science, commented on Shackleton’s situation:

“Based on the information provided by the club, further evaluation is necessary due to the persistently high level of pain. This could potentially lead to surgical intervention, contingent on the specific nature of the injury and the ineffectiveness of rehabilitation.”

Jamie Shackleton has Leeds United chance he's been waiting for following Luke Ayling news - Leeds Live

“In the event of surgery being required, it is likely that Shackleton will be sidelined for several weeks, and the course of action during the break remains uncertain.”

Shackleton has appeared in seven league matches for Leeds United this season and has proven to be a valuable utility player for Farke. Despite his primary role as a central midfielder, he has been deployed as a right-back due to Djed Spence’s injury and Luke Ayling’s form.

It’s safe to say that the 24-year-old has performed admirably in this new role, and fans will eagerly await Farke’s injury update ahead of the Norwich City game scheduled for October 21.

In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay suggests that prominent European clubs have been monitoring a player from Leeds for some time and remain interested in signing him.
