Swansea City boss Michael Duff revealed some significant developments ahead Leicester City of clash

In the latest update on his squad ahead of Saturday’s Championship clash, Michael Duff revealed some significant developments. Swansea City has received a positive injury update, with full-back Kristian Pedersen now available for selection. However, there remains uncertainty surrounding another player’s availability.

As Leicester City prepares to face Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium this Saturday, they aim to extend their impressive six-game winning streak in the league. A victory would not only continue their winning run but also make them the first team in Championship history to win all of their first six away games of the season.

Before the match, reports suggested that Swansea’s center-back, Ben Cabango, would be sidelined due to injury. Nevertheless, Michael Duff, Swansea’s manager, has provided the latest information. He confirmed Pedersen’s return to fitness and did not completely rule out the possibility of Cabango playing a role in the upcoming game.

Duff stated in his pre-match press conference, “The squad is in better shape now, as Kristian Pedersen is fit and has been training throughout the week. Ben Cabango’s situation is a bit uncertain; he has returned to training, and we will evaluate his readiness. The only players with longer-term injuries are Josh Ginnelly, Joe Allen, Nathan Wood, and Azeem Abdulai. Ben is the one with a question mark, and while he might be available for the weekend, he should definitely be ready for Tuesday’s match against Watford. He’s very close to full fitness.”

Pedersen had been absent for the past three games due to a groin injury, causing him to miss victories against Millwall, Norwich City, and Plymouth Argyle.
