CARLOS CORBERÁN PROVIDES POSITIVE JEREMY SARMIENTO & SEMI AJAYI UPDATE

Carlos Corberán has shared encouraging updates on the fitness of Jeremy Sarmiento and Semi Ajayi. The manager revealed that both players completed Thursday’s training session with the first-team squad, and if they have no issues during Friday’s training, they will be part of the matchday squad for Saturday’s game against Hull City.

Jeremy Sarmiento, the Ecuador international, has been sidelined since the end of September, while Semi Ajayi, the Nigerian international, last played two weeks ago against Plymouth Argyle. Carlos stated, “Jeremy Sarmiento and Semi Ajayi are two players who, if they successfully complete Friday’s training session, can be included in the matchday squad on Saturday. They both trained with the group on Thursday without any problems.”

The return of these players is seen as a positive development, as it adds depth to the squad, which has been missing several players in recent weeks. Semi Ajayi’s return provides an additional option at center-back, and he was part of the first XI at the beginning of the season. Jeremy Sarmiento’s presence offers various attacking possibilities, making their comeback a piece of good news.

Bringing these players back into the squad enhances competitiveness and elevates the team’s competitive levels when facing their opponents.
