Arizona Coyotes has confirm 2 key player to miss first game of season

After recently returning from a lower-body injury, Arizona Coyotes defenseman Sean Durzi, another key player on their blue line, J.J. Moser, will be sidelined for the upcoming game against the Colorado Avalanche. Coyotes head coach André Tourigny announced that Moser is dealing with an upper-body injury, but the absence is not anticipated to be prolonged.

Coach Tourigny provided an update, stating, “He (Moser) is out right now. We don’t expect that to be long, but probably not today for sure and probably not the next one. He is doing good, so good news.” This setback follows a notable hit by Colorado forward Miles Wood on Moser during the team’s 4-1 loss on December 23.

The Sean Durzi trade will be a sneaky steal

Moser, now in his third season with the Coyotes, has accumulated three goals, 12 assists, 29 hits, and 55 blocks in 33 games. To fill the void left by Moser, Juuso Välimäki will step into the lineup against the Avalanche after being a healthy scratch for the previous two games. Despite Moser’s temporary absence, the team remains optimistic about his recovery.
