JUST IN : Ac Milan has find a fantastic replacement for Luka Jovic

AC Milan’s striker Luka Jovic is enjoying a fantastic run of form, scoring five goals in 15 games, with an average of one goal every 115 minutes. Despite Jovic’s impressive performance, Milan’s management is reportedly looking to sign another striker to strengthen the attacking department.

While Jovic’s recent exploits have elevated his status at Milan, Olivier Giroud remains the starting No.9. Jovic’s contributions, including a brace against Cagliari in the Coppa Italia, have demonstrated his value to the team. However, the report suggests that Milan is still seeking to reinforce their attacking options.

Jovic’s contract with Milan expires in June, and if his current form continues, the last-minute transfer that brought him from Fiorentina to Milan could be considered the deal of the year. Milan explored various striker options before landing Jovic, including attempts for Morata, Scamacca, Broja, Taremi, Rafa Mir, and Jonathan David.

Looking ahead, Milan’s strategy for signing a new center-forward is expected to change. The preference will be for a younger player, unlike recent signings Ibrahimovic, Giroud, and Mandzukic, who were all over 30. Jonathan David of Lille is a notable target for June, but if opportunities arise in the January transfer window within budget, Milan’s management is prepared to take advantage.

Serhou Guirassy is also on Milan’s radar, a 27-year-old striker from Stuttgart with a €17 million release clause. Guirassy has an impressive record of 19 goals in 16 games, aligning with Stefano Pioli’s style of play for center-forwards. However, the player’s €5 million net salary request is a consideration, especially with competition from the Premier League and Bayern Munich. The report also notes that Guirassy will be participating in the Africa Cup of Nations this month, adding a further dimension to the negotiations.
