Bojan Radulovic explains why he joined Huddersfield Town as a striker

Striker Bojan Radulovic, who recently signed with Huddersfield Town from Finnish champions HJK for an undisclosed fee, considers this move a significant and pivotal moment in his career. The 24-year-old expressed his excitement and happiness about joining the Championship outfit, signing a three-and-a-half year deal. Making his debut as a substitute in the FA Cup defeat against Manchester City, Radulovic conveyed his anticipation to start playing for the club.

Having followed Huddersfield’s journey from the Premier League to the Championship, Radulovic revealed that when he learned about the club’s interest through his agent, he saw it as a tremendous opportunity to return to England and compete in the Championship. He emphasized the importance of working hard to contribute to the team’s success and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to play for the club.


Radulovic’s football journey includes a youth career with Lleida Esportiu, a stint with Brighton & Hove Albion, and loan spells with Espanyol B and Alaves B in Spain. He later joined Swedish side AIK in 2020 before moving to HJK in 2022, initially on loan and later making the transfer permanent. Radulovic contributed significantly to HJK’s success, winning two Finnish league titles and topping the goalscoring charts in the previous season.

Reflecting on his time with HJK, Radulovic acknowledged the positive experiences, including winning championships and qualifying for European competitions. He expressed pride in his achievements and sees the move to Huddersfield as an opportunity for personal and professional growth.

With Huddersfield Town struggling in the Championship, sitting just three points above the relegation zone after 26 games, Radulovic assured the supporters that the team would turn things around. He urged fans to maintain faith in the club, emphasizing the need for unity and expressing confidence that the team will achieve its goals by the end of the season.
