Ipswich Town fans were pleased with their team’s performance after a late equalizer secured a 1-1 draw at leaders Leicester City. Jeremy Sarmiento’s first goal for the club lifted Ipswich Town back up to second place in the Championship. “Those subs come on and they : made such a difference, they were fantastic,” said one fan. Town is still seven points behind The Foxes. Their next game is at home to Maidstone United in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.

Jeremy Sarmiento’s first goal for the club on 89 minutes gave Kieran McKenna’s side a creditable 1-1 draw with the league leaders at the King Power Stadium, pushing the Blues one point ahead of Southampton in third place.

The Ecuadorian’s goal saved the Blues from suffering their fourth league defeat of the season, which appeared to be the case after Leif Davis turned into his own net in the first half to give the Foxes the lead.
