Huddersfield Town boss Darren Moore on job fears, a ‘must-win’ game at QPR and Kevin Nagle’s comments

HUDDERSFIELD TOWN manager Darren Moore maintains he is not concerned about the possibility of losing his job if the struggling Terriers fail to win Sunday’s Championship relegation six-pointer at QPR, and is instead focussing on what he has control over.
Moore is under increasing pressure going into the game, and if the hosts win in West London, Town will drop to the bottom three and swap places with the R’s.

In his post-match video diary following last weekend’s dismal stalemate at Blackburn, where fourth-bottom Town squandered multiple chances to capture three points, chairman Kevin Nagle put the pressure on the Terriers’ manager, saying that the QPR game was a’must-win’ one.
The town chairman stated, “I’m really concerned. I don’t enjoy looking behind us, but an organization named QPR is not far behind us. We play them next week. All bets are off on that one; we must win.

“Everybody’s under a ton of pressure, and I don’t want to be sitting here a week from tonight in a different spot, let’s just put it that way.”

When asked if he was concerned about the possibility of losing his job if Town lost to their direct rivals. Moore remarked, “When I look at the situation, it’s the business and gig that we sign up for.”

“When you come in as a manager of a football club, you understand the industry and the business, and that is what we signed up for.
