According to BristolLive, Bolton Wanderers, Charlton Athletic,Charlton Athletic, and Wrexham are interested in signing Bristol Rovers forward Aaron Collins.
Bolton Wanderers’ original proposal for the League One star was rejected, but the two clubs are still in negotiations about a prospective move.
Collins, 26, has now made 35 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring five goals and assisting nine.
According to BristolLive’s most recent update on his condition, he is currently garnering interest from other parties.
Bolton Wanderers, Charlton Athletic, and Wrexham are interested in Collins, who is now under contract at Bristol Rovers until the summer of 2025. The club is not obligated to sell him this winter unless a compelling offer is made.
The Welshman has been a vital performer for the Gas since joining them in 2021, scoring 39 goals in 139 outings.
Collins then moved to Forest Green Rovers a year later, where he scored 16 goals in 83 appearances before joining Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Ground.
He would be a great coup for Bolton, boosting their promotion chances. However, the Trotters may face competition from league rivals Charlton, who have also been linked with a move as they seek to turn their season around following Michael Appleton’s departure.
Wrexham has also been discussed, but it would be a surprise if Collins was to drop into League Two, especially though they are now in second position.
