Winnipeg Blue Bombers announces the signing of another 25-year-old fantastic star

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed wide receiver Keytaon Thompson on Tuesday.

Keytaon Thompson is six feet three and weighs 218 pounds. The 25-year-old from New Orleans, Louisiana, signed as an undrafted free agent with the Detroit Lions in 2023 and previously played for the Orlando Guardians (XFL) before the XFL and USFL merged to form the United Football League (UFL).
Thompson spent three seasons at Mississippi State (2017-19), completing 50 of 105 passes (48%) for 846 yards, 8 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions in 19 games.

Thompson then transferred to Virginia (2020-22), where he rushed 82 times for 506 yards and eight touchdowns, caught 138 passes for 1,667 yards and four scores, and completed two of eight throws (25%) for -4 yards in 29 games.
