DONE DEAL : Stoke City has announces the signing of another fantastic star to their roster

Transfer news and reaction: Steven Schumacher adds Million Manhoef and Niall Ennis to his Stoke City roster before the window closes.
Stephen Schumacher has signed Million Manhoef, a potential difference maker in the way of his former Plymouth Argyle player Morgan Whittaker.

That is the anticipation of the Not The Top 20 podcast’s pundits, EFL specialists who examined the Championship’s comings and goings on deadline day. Manhoef’s move to Stoke City was one of the most notable, with him emerging as a target just on Wednesday evening and being paraded in red and white on Thursday just before the transfer market closed.

The 22-year-old is a left-footed right winger who has impressed Vitesse Arnhem and the Netherlands under-21s in recent years. Vitesse were unwilling to let him go, but their hand was forced by a protracted takeover, which had left them with a massive financial hole – and Stoke took advantage.
Craig Bradley from NTT20 exclaimed, “Whoa! Steven Schumacher has signed a talent in the mould of Morgan Whittaker. Keep an eye out.

“Respected Dutch journalists were under the notion yesterday that Million Manhoef would join with PSV Eindhoven. PSV knows one thing: an inverted right winger. They moved from Noni Madueke to Johan Bakayoko. Manhoef was meant to be the succession plan. That should tell you everything you need to know about the potential in Manhoef.

“There is no reason why he can’t. The Netherlands’ path to the Championship is becoming well-established. Gus Hamer, Zion Flemming, and Milan van Ewijk have all proven to be excellent signings after taking the same path.”
