Tottenham and Newcastle in ‘front row’ to sign €35m-rated Ederson

Spurs eye midfield master Ederson, a step toward growth under Postecoglou.
Progress brings prosperity, opportunity, and the possibility of advancement; such is the vibe at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since Ange Postecoglou took over at N17. While Tottenham have gone a long way, there is still much work to be done, and progress is the word around the club as the summer transfer window approaches.

Daniel Levy and co. are searching for players who can not only enhance the roster but also raise the team’s ceiling, and midfield appears to be one of the spots Spurs will try to upgrade this summer, with Atalanta midfielder Ederson on their radar.

In recent months, Ederson has been connected with moves to Manchester United, Liverpool, Juventus, and Newcastle United, in addition to Spurs.

When Ederson was twelve, he packed his things and moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil’s largest city, in the hopes of becoming a footballer. At the age of twenty-four, he has some of the world’s greatest clubs waiting up for his signature.
To summarize, Ederson is a box-to-box midfielder with a powerful engine who can produce vertical line-breaking passes. There is enormous potential that might pay off if Tottenham bring him to North London.

According to Calciomercato, Atalanta is seeking 35 million euros for Ederson’s services, with Tottenham and Newcastle leading the battle.

Son Heung-min matched a new Tottenham Hotspur milestone after scoring against Aston Villa.
Starlet set to sign first professional contract with Tottenham Hotspur; was desired by 5 clubs last summer.
Tottenham Hotspur player is in ‘love’ with Ange Postecoglou’s tactics following Aston Villa triumph.

Spurs will want to replace Atletico Madrid’s Pierre-Emerick Hojbjerg while also adding depth to their midfield. Ange prefers to get an advantage over opponents by making line-breaking passes that generate transition-type scenarios for his forward line, and a passer like Ederson may help him with this.
