Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively reveal that Rotherham United’s Hakeem Odoffin has declared himself available for Super Eagles selection after pledging his international future to the three-time African champions.

Odoffin, who was born in Barnet, is eligible to play for England’s Three Lions, although he is unlikely to be on manager Gareth Southgate’s radar given his current position in English football’s second tier.

Despite Rotherham United’s troubles on the pitch this season, his reputation is still intact as he has been probably their standout player, scoring four goals in thirty-eight appearances across all competitions.

The 26-year-old offers versatility as he can play as a centre-back, defensive midfielder or box-to-box midfielder.

He began his career with Tottenham Hotspur’s youth squad, then went on to play for Barnet, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Northampton Town, Livingston, and Hamilton Academical before joining Rotherham United in the summer of 2021.

Odoffin’s contract with Rotherham United runs until June 30, 2024, with the Millers retaining a club option for the 2024-2025 season.
