Louisville Cardinals boss Jeff Brohm has signed his sixth recruit for the 2025 football class, 3-star

Louisville obtains their sixth recruit of the 2025 class.
Jeff Brohm has signed his sixth recruit for the 2025 football class, 3-star tight end Grant Houser, who has committed to the Louisville Cardinals.
Houser is a 6-foot-5-inch, 230-pound tight end from Wapakoneta, Ohio, and while he may not be a top recruit in the 2025 class, his intangibles indicate that he has the ability to be a key component in Brohm’s offense.

According to 247sports, Houser is a 3-star recruit who is ranked as the 66th tight end, 64th best player from Ohio, and 1,218th best player in the 2025 class. Houser also had offers from the Air Force, Army, Connecticut, and a variety of lesser colleges, so it’s no surprise that he chose Louisville over the others.

Ohio TE Grant Houser commits to Louisville

Houser might be a vertical threat in Brohm’s offense based on his junior high school highlights, but with his size and athleticism, he should be an excellent pass blocker as well. Houser is unlikely to see the field much in his rookie season, but that depends on what Louisville’s tight end room will look like come . The 2025 season. Houser is the sixth player in the 2025 class, and the second Ohioan. Brohm has been considerably more aggressive in reestablishing the Ohio pipeline than previous coach Scott Satterfield, which is a good thing because a particular school down the road enjoys recruiting from Ohio.
