QPR post classy message ahead of Newcastle United summer move as fans urge transfer
Isaac Hayden has completed a loan spell at QPR and will return to Newcastle United this summer.
QPR fans have asked the club to re-sign Isaac Hayden, who excelled during his short loan time at Loftus Road. Hayden appeared 17 times in the league as QPR avoided relegation and survived comfortably under Marti Cifuentes.
Hayden began the season with Standard Liege, but his loan deal with the Belgian club expired in January, prompting his move to Loftus Road. The 29-year-old will return to Newcastle United in the summer, but some R’s fans have encouraged the club to re-sign the midfielder for the 2024/25 season.
QPR posted images of Hayden and fellow loanee Joe Hodge on Instagram, with the caption: ‘BIG thanks to our two loanees. Both serve critical roles in our survival. QPR fans swamped the comments section of this piece, urging their club to sign the Magpies star for next year.

Hayden has not featured for Newcastle United since December 2021, and he is slated to leave the club this summer. The former Hull City player has two years left on his current deal at St James’ Park and spent last season on loan at Norwich City, but was unable to assist the Canaries regain promotion to the top flight.
