DONE DEAL : Rotherham united has announced the signing of another 29-year-old star ahead of a busy summer.

ROTHERHAM UNITED have reached an agreement to sign former striker Jonson Clarke-Harris, in a clear statement of purpose ahead of a busy summer.
Clarke-Harris, 29, a former record signing for the Millers during Steve Evans’ first tenure as manager, was recently released by Peterborough United.

He will join Rotherham once his contract with Posh expires at the end of June. The frontman has signed a two-year contract.
The 29-year-old, who topped the League One scoring records twice in three years from 2021 to 2023, scored 87 goals in 190 appearances for the club across four years.

He scored 13 goals in the 2023-24 season, as Peterborough’s promotion bid ended in the play-off semi-finals for the second consecutive season. Despite being listed for transfer a year ago, the prolific forward has stayed at London Road until the end of his contract.

He had been connected with Charlton Athletic, Mansfield Town, and old club Bristol Rovers.
