West Ham United are allegedly serious contenders to recruit Hull City defender Jacob Greaves and Coventry City playmaker Callum O’Hare. Both players have been impressive in the Championship, assisting their respective teams to top-half finishes. Greaves might play a role in the play-offs, as Hull still has a mathematical chance of finishing in the top six.
Greaves, a Hull academy graduate, rose through the Tigers’ youth systems before establishing himself at the senior level. He has forged a strong partnership with Alfie Jones and played 42 league games this season.
According to The Guardian, West Ham are looking to improve at the back and are claimed to have had positive conversations with Greaves. They are also thought to be interested in signing O’Hare, who has impressed for Coventry this season.

He helped the Sky Blues to the FA Cup semi-finals and has scored 10 goals in all competitions since the start of the season. Landing Greaves and O’Hare would also help West Ham meet their local quota.
They are not the only team to be connected with Greaves this season, with Everton also reportedly interested in the 23-year-old. The Hammers are ninth in the Premier League table, but David Moyes is reportedly likely to leave at the conclusion of the season. They have been connected with former Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui, while Gary O’Neil and Michael Carrick are also among the favourites with bookmakers.
