Eberechi Eze of Crystal Palace has shared a photo of himself with Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min.

Eze was extensively linked with a summer move to North London as Spurs investigated a deal to sign the Palace star.

Indeed, journalist Dean Jones stated just last month that Tottenham was interested in signing Eze this summer.

However, a deal for the £70 million-rated midfielder did not materialize as Tottenham shifted their emphasis elsewhere.

Eze was recently photographed at an event in London with Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min.

Son Heung-min spotted with Tottenham Hotspur target Last night, Eze Eze took to Instagram and shared a photo of himself and Son.

The pair may be seen laughing together at a Burberry event in London.

Crystal Palace ready to offer Eberechi Eze £5m-a-year new contract but clause could still see Man City pounce | The Sun

Eze has been a standout for the Eagles in recent years, so it’s no surprise that Tottenham is interested in him.

Manchester City has also expressed interest in the 25-year-old, who is in the final two years of his contract at Selhurst Park.

Of course, Spurs signed James Maddison over the summer, so it’s easy to understand why they didn’t pursue Eze more aggressively.

It will be interesting to watch if they renew their interest in the next transfer windows.

The Englishman appears to be the ideal candidate for Spurs and would complement Ange Postecoglou’s style of play.
