Doug King announces ‘statement of intent’ as Coventry City season ticket details revealed

Coventry City season ticket news via CoventryLive, as the Sky Blues publish complete details on prices and key dates for the 2024/25 season. Doug King assured fans today that Coventry City are ‘dreaming big’ as he disclosed that season ticket prices for the 2024/25 Championship campaign will be locked and go on sale at midday on Monday.

The Sky Blues sold a record 19,500 tickets last season, and the club aims to sell even more this season with the extra incentive of keeping the same prices as 2023/24 – in what the executive chairman insists is a clear’statement of intent’.

That means the cheapest adult ticket in the Standard Zone at the CBS Arena remains fixed at £400 (early bird price), while concessions (over-65s and 18-21s) will pay £360, Under-18s will pay £225 and Under-14s £125. The Premium Zone prices are £480 for adults while in the Family Zone an adult will pay £250 with an Under-14 charged £50. The club says it has made the decision to freeze the prices “despite continued significant inflation pressures to thank fans for their magnificent support and to encourage as many of the expanding Sky Blue Army as possible to secure a seat for all 23 home league games of the 2024/25 campaign.”

The announcement was made today with a video launch, showcasing a ‘Football club on the up’ and encouraging the Sky Blue Army to ‘Dream Big, Aim High and Play Up,’ while also featuring City players, fans and manager Mark Robins.

Fans with a Premier League package will be able to renew again, whilst a Premier League Package 2.0 will also be opened up to new supporters who wish to sign up with the prospect of a free season ticket the first time that City reach the top-flight.

There will be the usual Family Zone, Standard Zone and Premium Zone price options for supporters, plus a range of Premium Membership packages for fans who want to enjoy the campaign in hospitality – including the new Balcony Street Bar package!

Doug King, Coventry City’s owner and executive chairman, said: “I am thrilled to reveal the terms of the 2024/25 season tickets.

“We are all looking forward to next season and understand the impact that the Sky Blue Army at the Coventry Building Society Arena can have. Following record attendance last season, we hope to see even more supporters, who are the heartbeat of our club, propelling our team forward. We intend to make the Coventry Building Society Arena a stronghold.

“By filling the stadium and allowing the club to continue to invest in the team, you enable our adventure to continue forward with momentum toward our ultimate goal. By freezing rates at 23/24 levels, the Club makes a statement that it requires no

new financial sacrifice from our expanding fan base it just wants you to join and enjoy the journey. “The 23/24 campaign was another amazing one for the Club and our supporters, with us reaching the FA Cup Semi-Final and being in contention for a place in the Championship Play-Offs for much of the campaign.

“As our aspirational launch video says, we are dreaming big and aiming high. Coventry is a powerful and strong city and deserves a fantastic football team. We want and need you with us on this journey and look forward to seeing the Arena packed again next season.”

Fans who purchased a Premier League Package ahead of the 2023/24 season need to buy their package again ahead of the 2024/25 campaign – they must do this to ensure they are eligible to get their FREE Season Ticket when the Sky Blues reach the Premier League.

Sky Blues fans who renew their Premier League package will get a free Season Ticket if they keep renewing each season and if Coventry City achieve promotion to the Premier League within the next 4 years. The renewal price remains set at £500 for fans who joined this package last year and will remain the same over the duration of the package.

The club are also re-opening the Premier League Package for more fans to take advantage of the scheme. The new Premier League package 2.0 is set at £550 for new purchasers to this scheme fixed for the next 4 seasons if they keep renewing each season, until we reach the Premier League when the package will end. Both last season’s Premier League package and the new Premier League Package 2.0 conclude at the end of the 2027/28 season – supporters need to keep renewing to remain part of their package.

The Family Zone package is back, and adults accompanied by a Junior, Adults, or Concessions will pay £250. A junior under 14 will cost £50, which includes Junior Sky Blues membership. Please be aware that new Terms and Conditions apply to Season Tickets purchased in this location.
