After being crowned Wolves’ Players’ Player of the Season, defender Nelson Semedo has spoken out.
Wanderers suffered a 3-1 setback in their final home game of the season on Saturday, and then it was time to dole out individual awards.
Mario Lemina was awarded Supporters’ Player of the Season, and after his victory, he shared an emotional message with fans on social media.
Pablo Sarabia won the Goal of the Season title for his outstanding performance against Tottenham Hotspur at Molineux.
Nelson Semedo, chosen Players’ Player of the Season, was also a winner.
Semedo has had a fantastic campaign in 2023/24, starring regularly under Gary O’Neil, and last night, he
I used social media to communicate a message. Wolves’ standout Nelson Semedo reacts to earning Players’ Player of the Season.
Semedo is wrapping up his fourth season at Molineux, and it’s fair to argue that this has been his greatest season yet – something he believes as well. Semedo has made 40 appearances in all competitions, trailing only captain Max Kilman in terms of playing time.

He continued: “Despite the result, I want to thank you fans for all your support during the away season, but especially at home with you, we are stronger.”Thank you to my teammates and everyone who voted for me as the greatest player of the year. I appreciate the acknowledgment.
“I will continue to strive so that we may be better every day; while being an individual prize, I believe this trophy belongs to all of us players and the entire staff; you motivate me to be better and

Wolves may want to cash in, but only if a pretty large bid comes along. Because it would be very tough to replace him and his experience.
